Breast Implant Health Scare

The founder of a French company that makes breast implants linked to a health scare was charged Friday with involuntary injury. Jean-Claude Mas, founder of Poly Implant Protheses, or PIP, has been released but is under judicial control, meaning he cannot leave France.  He has not been charged with the more serious offense of involuntary manslaughter.

PIP implants have sparked health scares in Europe and South America. A French attorney representing women with implants welcomed the arrest, but said it could have come sooner. The company has been under investigation since 2011.

Atika Shubert and her producer Saskya went around Southern France to investigate what is going on with PIP and how this all could've happened.

We also spoke to Dr. Grant Stevens, a plastic surgeon in Los Angeles, who talks about the problems he's had with PIP breast implants and how to keep yourself safe.

Hi,I wonder if you could dorvipe some more information on the potential part-time opportunity. I'm assuming your preference is for full-time if you can find a suitable candidate. Is that correct?I work full time, shift work as a firefighter. That means two day shifts (10 hours each), two night shifts (14 hours each) followed by four days off. This leads to a varied schedule of availability 6 daytimes out of every 8 that advances 1 day each time (8 day blocks in a 7 day week). Hope that makes sense. Would this be acceptable as a part time availability or do you require set hours on set days without variation?

I found this aoatiminn piece to be too literal, and therefore too clumsy. I would have worked more abstractly myself, told the story through inference (or not at all it's such a strange idea in the first place; not a bad idea, just one that's better left to the imagination), perhaps using the shadow puppets she seems to be using for Lake Tahoe. It just doesn't come off, in my opinion, and when the snow lover starts to melt it's really grotesque, and the distorted reality of that intrudes upon what should be a more subtle process, an almost metaphorical thing: the perfect lover who inevitably slips away, leaving nothing but a chill in the air. At least that's what I think.

By the way EVERYONE who is gintetg shafted by PayPal should launch a formal complaint via the Better Business Bureau's website and MAKE PayPal respond. If 500 complaints are filed THEN they will respond!! HAHAHAHA! It will absolutely KICK their asses! File with your local BBB so they have to respond in YOUR jurisdiction.Never give up, never surrender!Cheers Jonathan

Thanks for the heads up, guys. I have used Paypal for svreeal years without problem but my use is minimal and I haven't had any problems but it never hurts to watch carefully. You folks run a great service, by the way, with Statcounter and I really enjoy the features. My site is strictly volunteer so I'm not a paying member but I really appreciate it.Don

I have studied for prblobay a month concerning your product and also the chroma-key technology. I am so impressed by the products you sell. What I would like to know will the ultra 2 master sets work with the Cinegobs keyer or the Chromakey sold by Tube Tape. I so hope that it will work. I have a Sony Vaio, 4GB 64Bit operating system. It is 16 months old, and works very well. Please email me a quick reply. I am presently living in Vietnam and will be relocating back to the states in 2 months. I want to use your product for online ministry since I am a pastor. Thank you so much for your great product.

Bold comments on truth tilleng. An aspect off truth tilleng that might further the discussion is when is advocacy (e.g. child abuse counselors) also a truth tilleng. I think that sometimes we as a culture allow some people who have great truth ( I'm being crushed/violated by this person/government ) be ignored. After all isn't the Anthony story known by all of us by a certain media exploration.I like how you describe truth as a freeing thing despite first reactions.

Easily attainable emelnympot is the flakey point here. Those jobs listed as seasonal are skill specific jobs that are not easily attainable, let alone available at non seasons. Most who work those jobs also only barely make more than min. wage when averaged throughout the off season .without any benefits. Most of the easily attainable jobs you listed are, frankly out of touch with reality. NO McDonalds, or Stop n Go 3 month temp employee makes much more than min wage, let alone $25 grand. They are taken by high school or college students who aren't supporting a family. Thats simply unrealistic. Now, if you were to be making the point that unemelnympot insurance should only be covering those people who are making less than poverty level averaged over the year and thus cannot save enough to pay their bills, This I could kinda understand . kinda. If you were to be saying unemelnympot insurance should only be there as an INSURANCE if becoming unemployed is catastrophic or unpredictable this too I could kinda understand . kinda. What you are saying is akin to the neo cons saying Welfare Mamma's keep kicking out babies so we should kick everybody off of welfare or foodstamp recipients are unworthy because they bought a steak Its empty neo con rhetoric. The $50 grand seasonal job is not representative its a drop in the bucket to the real world. To penalize the other seasonal workers because of this is something a neo con would do. A real solution should be to create a cost of liviing index based upon income for unemelnympot insurance recipients, and give them the insurance they payed for for a limited time no wait, thats how it is now. Unemelnympot insurance is an INSURANCE not WELFARE. Next thing you will try to keep full coverage auto insurance from paying for hail damage because you cannot see the dings.
