Fighting between government forces and tribesmen has been raging in Yemen's capital, Sanaa and several other cities. Thousands of anti-government protesters have been pressuring President Ali Abdullah Saleh to give up power since January. Journalist Patrick Symmes visited Yemen in March, to write a travel feature for Outside magazine.
