Home from the War Zone

At the height of the War in Iraq, there were 170,000 U.S. troops stationed in Iraq.  As of today, there are 6,000 American troops and four U.S. military bases still operating inside the country.  All of those bases are located south of Baghdad.  Soon, they will be dismantled and the troops will return home.  Kyra Phillips talked to some servicemen and women who's already returned to the United States.  They told her about their experiences in Iraq, for better and for worse.

your explanation has heepld me greatly. i am running win7 64bit. and i have always run the program normally. so for a 60gb ssd, i get 40% unknown & 30% windows. reading this i decided to run it as administrator, and was happy to see quite a few differences: windows 66% & NOTHING under other words, nothing was the matter. from now on i will always run the program as admin. before arriving at your post ,trying to find the unknown' i stopped windows restore, delete hyberfile.sys and stopped that nasty wmpnetwk process (it had built a database of about 1.2Gigs)- i have no backups set up.thus freeing quite a bit of the drive-regardless, its nice to see that the supposed unknown are just windows files. thanks again. the way i agreee 100% about the english language only version being a terribly silly idea.

How soon are we likely to be told the stuats of the positions? The link has been removed from your website. Is that a sign? I have sent my application and I am also just as anxious. Thanks.StatCounter Team Response:Hi Femi,We have received over 100 re9sume9s so far but we are still open to new applications. (Your application has been received thanks!)We will start going through the applicants today and may contact some people requesting more information. Please note that we will also have to take people on for a trial period so that we can find out if the position suits them and if they are a good match for StatCounter. This means that it may be a number of weeks before the positions are permanently filled. Thanks good luck!

What will it mean short term if say 4 million Americans move their money from big banks to elamlsr banks during the next month? Might some of them worry about system risks and move their money as cash instead of through bank drafts, Electronic Fund Transfers, etc? Then they might buy some gold, or hold on to some more cash than usual, rather than redepositing it all. Considering the leverage in the system, how much cash withdrawn during a short period could the system handle? I wonder.. So far this move your money thing looks like it's avoiding the usual race and partisan pitfalls. Maybe Americans will actually do it. Thankfully bankers haven't figured out a way to make banking addictive.

Thanks, for your reccomendations! I was in doubt, wehethr to buy services from Ala-TV, in order to watch English channels, or not. Now I am sure that I have to call them Personally, I think that no need to know a language completely and as you mentioned above it is unreal anyway. However, if we can communicate with others, then problem of intercommunication solved. Good job!
